The May 2020 Spotlight is DF Playin With Guns – we call her Ice.
This 3-year-old Sorrel Mare comes to the Ranch from the celebrated Dixon Flowers Quarter Horses ranch in OK, known for raising strong roping horses. Ice has an interesting pedigree with huge money-earning reigned cow horses top side and huge money-earning cutting horses bottom side. With more than $1 Million in earnings from her forebears, Ice is destined to follow in their footsteps as a big money earner for your family! Ice had 90 days with a cowhorse trainer during her 2-year-old year and continues to be ridden in the arena and on the trail. She is such a levelheaded, sensible mare with an old-soul demeanor. She is quiet on the ground and not much phases her; she has never offered to buck, bite or kick. Ice is super-broke with an excellent handle and is ready for a steady job – she can go in so many directions and it wouldn’t take much to get her there! She has excellent feet and bone and you won’t find a flaw in her. These pictures don’t do her justice; she’s much prettier in person so plan to visit her soon!
