This yearling is maturing rapidly and showing incredible promise. Shorty comes from a long line of Cat daddies, starting with High Brow Cat as his Great Grandsire, Smooth As a Cat as Grandsire and CNN Cats Smokie as his dad; to round out his gene pool he is also out of a “Rooster” (Gallo Del Cielo) mare! Shorty loves being loved on – he’s the first colt in the pasture to greet you at the fence, waiting for a scratch on the neck and a pat on the butt. He is cute as a button and built to shake it up in the cutting pen. We’re excited to see what this impressive colt has to offer as he matures and starts his training soon.
Please note: Short N Speedy’s papers show that he is a Gelding; he is NOT. The previous owners expected to geld him but did not do so before we acquired him and we have not gelded him. We are selling Shorty as a Stallion; if you choose not to geld him and keep him as a Stallion you can submit a change request to AQHA to have his papers changed.
