A sweet 3-year-old, Sandy is a rose-gray, quiet, lightly started, show-stopping beauty! Everyone visiting the Ranch stops to see this High Brow Gal, and now she’s ready to become your forever friend! Cutting bred and light on her feet, this filly is a mover and a shaker in the round pen. Her previous owner and breeder is a full time roper and intended this mare to be one of his go-to roping horses; unfortunately, he just didn’t have time to work with her so she mostly lived in the pasture maturing. He did lightly start her so she is halter broke, loads well, leads well, ties and stands for trims. She is easy to saddle from either side and has no buck to her. Sandy has quiet, wide-set eyes and is short-faced from pole to muzzle. And that color! She is listed as a Bay Mare on her papers, but as she matured that bay shed out and a gorgeous rose-gray coloring filled in. Sandy has a wide chest and low-set hocks for hard stops. For being pasture-raised most of her formative years, Sandy has quickly become calm and patient in her stall and during training. She is easy to catch and enjoys being groomed. She really is just an all-around nice horse and we’re looking forward to spending more time with her in the round pen and the arena pad as we continue her training.
