This Dream Horse is looking for her new Barbie (or Ken)! Daisys Coy Lily (Lily to us) is a Paint Horse registered Buckskin mare. Lily just celebrated her 7th birthday and her only wish was to find a permanent trail-riding partner. Lily is a trail riders dream: she steps out, follows or leads solo or with others. She crosses water, doesn’t mind when the local wildlife (deer, hogs, squirrels, dogs) play hide-n-seek in the woods and does not spook easily. When she does it’s a slow stop, ears up and interest in her eyes – no bolting, bucking, side-stepping or fleeing for her life. She is smooth to ride and is easy on the bum! Not only is this dream horse awesome on the trail, Lily is as sweet, kind and patient as they come. She ties well, gets along with every horse we have on the Ranch, but doesn’t get upset when others leave the stall for training. On top of all that, Lily is a wonderful mother and has produced two beautiful foals (buckskin filly and palomino colt – see the pics at the bottom of her page); with her temperament, patience and past produce to show she would make an excellent brood mare. We’ve had a lot of interest in easy trail riders this year; Lily is just the girl you’re looking for to be your long-term trail riding explorer!
