This little man is a cow horse DELUXE inside a cute, chromey rabicano package tied together with an athletic bow! Born on a very cold January 3rd morning, Chilly emerged ready to rumble! At 6 weeks old this foal already showed development of a huge apple butt, typey beautiful head, impressive chest and forearms and plenty of gaskin to power through massive stops. Catty and quick-footed, Chilly has just enough grit to know he won’t give up on a cow. His mom, Pixie, is our owner and trainer’s personal horse and has more talent in 1 hoof than most of our others can dream of. His dad, Royal Pretty Boy, has strong foundation breeding and is a valued ranch horse, proficient in roping, cutting and all-around ranching duties.
As with all our foals we’re gently working with Chilly on the basics to ensure he’s ready for your barn and enjoyment. So far he’s already standing for the farrier (we have him rasp our foals’ feet so they get used to trims later), leads – mostly well, and loads into a trailer. As you can see in the pictures he also wears a blanket, although he’d prefer not to!
